Creating a warm and comfortable environment for newborns and their families was my top priority when I established my photo studio. I wanted to ensure that parents could relax and enjoy the experience, knowing that their little one was in good hands. From soft blankets to a warm climate and soothing music, every detail was carefully thought out to provide a peaceful atmosphere. The studio is designed to cater to the specific needs of newborns, with a comfy couch to relax and feed baby on, and plenty of simple accessories to capture every moment. It brings me immense joy to see families leaving my studio with a smile on their face, knowing that I have helped them create cherished memories that they will treasure forever.

Maternity Sesssion
Your journey with me often begins with you first booking a maternity session. I have an ever-growing maternity gown wardrobe that helps mom simply arrive with hair and makeup done, and I take care of the rest. We even offer custom floral headpieces that can be added to a maternity session or milk bath addition.
Newborn Session
Next up, are the newborn photos. Hooray! Baby is here! A newborn session is best booked within the first fourteen days of baby’s birth, while they are still tiny and sleepy. I photograph newborns in a natural and unposed way that allows the baby to shine, with no need for buckets or gigantic headbands. I want my clients to proudly display my timeless images on their walls for generations to come. Big brothers and big sisters are very proud to show off their new family addition, so even capturing a quick kiss on the forehead is an accomplishment for some two-year-olds!
Over Three Months
When baby is over three months, they begin to show some real personality. Those big smiles, frowns, funny faces and tummy time is a favourite milestone to photograph. Parents and siblings are always welcome in any baby photo session.
Sitting Session
On to the next big milestone! Sitting! I advise parents that if baby is at the six-month mark or older, it’s best to wait for photos until they are sturdy sitters! Having a little one sit on my studio bed or even in a vintage high chair makes for some classic images grandparents are proud to share. I’ve also introduced baby milk bath sessions complete with flowers and greenery to add even more of a Vintage Duck nature-inspired signature look.
Birthday Session
Let’s eat some cake! One year old session are a popular time for the entire family. We start with some sweet cuddles with mom and dad, portraits for the birthday girl or boy and then the messy cake smash often ending in the tiny tub! Check out a one-year-old session video here.
